Immediately after our gig at Caliber, we packed up our things and went straight to the bar. Not that playing drives us to drink (too much), but we were billed to open for Reno’s very own Formerly Known As, the tightest Prince tribute band in town!
The Public House was packed, and by the time we went on at 11, it was even packed-er.
Our eight-song set was as follows:
Paper Dreams
Tongue Tied
Me and the Moon
Damn Reality
Wait Up
Surprise
Feel Like Dancing
Oh My Brothers (and my sister) New
Perhaps the most raucous set we’ve ever played, we were on form (well lubed from our four-hour gig prior), the crowd was into it, and (perhaps most satisfying) – lots of people were dancing!
Thanks to Sounds Music Walk, put on the by the Creative Coalition of Midtown and thanks to Mike at Biggest Little City Club for setting up the gig!
